Jason Lytle - Yours Truly, The Commuter

Back in high school I first discovered the relaxing creations of Grandaddy. The soft vocals and light indie-pop melodies that defined the band did not last long unfortunately as the band fell apart and they pretty much dropped off my radar. However, I was thrilled to discover that the tanquil voice of Jason Lytle will flow once again through my speakers as he is prepared to deliver his first solo project since his days with the old band. The new album, Yours Truly, The Commuter, carries the familiar Grandaddy feel - as Lytle created much of Grandaddy’s songs - but with enough of a twist to establish his solo path. Enjoy a stream of the title track and look for the album out May 19th on the ANTI- label!
