The photo totally looks like it was taken in my backyard! Brownie points to these guys for reppin’ the Redwood forest. This group reminds me of old MGMT and Passion Pit…and I embrace that. I really like the recipe of experimental sounds and mild-psychedelia coated with the sweet icing of an indie-electro beat. Did you notice the looped water noise? New Villager just released a 7” featuring this track and their drum anthem “Rich Doors.” I hope to hear more from these guys soon. Extra credit:
