More like Master-sweet! Andrew Bird has a new album, plus bonus disc, dropping on Tuesday, which makes it that much better of a day. Why? Tuesday we start anew with the US government, not to mention we also get Animal Collective and Bon Iver releases. Can’t wait! I have to thank my sister - even though she doesn’t read my blog - for introducing me to the Birdman. This song starts out slow for the first minute and then it launches into a lengthy groove that sounds slightly latin influenced to me. Bird executes some expert violin and vocals over the already rich and complex instrumentals. From what I’ve heard so far, this will be a great record! Stream the whole album on his Myspace:
