Active Child - She Was A Vision

Active Child is the ultra-brilliant product of Pat Grossi from Los Angeles. Get the name stuck in your head because my feeling is this guy is going to make some waves - and why not catch an early one? I guess he started getting a little buzz on a few blogs last fall, but now he’s blowing up since the lucky guy earned an 8/10 review of his track “Wilderness” on Pitchfork the other day. Sad that Pitchfork had to clue me in to that (must stay ahead!) but I’m still plenty satisfied about my decision to do this write up. As soon as you hear this guy, you’ll know why you like him. Think urban Justin Vernon. Active Child’s recently released She Was A Vision 7” can be found at Transparent and his new six track tape Sun Rooms is available now over at Mirror Universe.
