That Ghost - The Red Bow (Video)

So remember two days ago when I posted that awesome Foreign Born video? Well it just so happened that Stereogum was really killing it with the videos that day and as a result I stumbled across the video above shortly after viewing “Early Warnings” and now I can’t get enough of this song. The artist is That Ghost, a project by Ryan Schmale from not too distant Santa Rosa. His song “The Red Bow” is raw and noisy with harsh vocals and an angry playing style. Everything about the song has attitude, but the non-violent variety. The vibe is perfectly visualized in the music video via the shit crazy old man dancing around in the tall grass. He’s not going to attack you, but being around his shaky dance moves, ramblings and sporadic puking will definitely have you on edge saying: “That’s enough hooch old timer.” Anyways, I guess the point is he pulls off the edginess well. Check out That Ghost at El Rincon in San Francisco this Friday night!
