    Sea Wolf - Winter’s Heir

Another album closing tune has won my love. This time off the brand new - released today - album White Water, White Bloom from Los Angeles band Sea Wolf. This band is another gem off the Dangerbird label who, thanks to well respected indie music pusher Alexandra Patsavas, are also featured on the new oddly impressive Twilight soundtrack - if you’re into all that True Blood runoff. Yes, even True Blood in book form predated the Twilight series. But it’s great for the bands and that’s what counts! Back to the music: Band leader Alex Brown Church and mates demonstrate a high level of maturity in their playing abilities by including all the right ingredients and not going overboard. It’s not only the sweet little guitar riffs and distant flutters of mandolin that get to me, the simple head nodding cadence is equally responsible for making “Winter’s Heir” a great listen. If this sounds up your alley, then make sure to check these guys out on their current tour and obviously, pick up the new album!
