Local Natives - Sun Hands
On Tuesday I entered San Francisco’s Independent a fan of Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros and left a fan of Fool’s Gold and today’s featured band, Local Natives as well! While I only caught the last few songs from them, it was enough to seal the deal. This is why we see opening acts folks! Local Natives, like Edward Sharpe, are also from LA, although they seemed very comfortable with the SF vibe (whatever that is). “Sun Hands” is the latest hit from the So Cal crew. This tune features soft harmonies and echoey guitar which float over a perfectly fitting rhythm. It makes me think of riding quickly on horseback through a barren desert. Take it or leave it.
