The band with the hottest riffs in Cardiff is Los Campesinos!; a Welsh gang of seven who have shared the stage with acts like Broken Social Scene and No Age. Recently I was sent their latest single and after a few listens I feel excited to spread it to other ears. This is one of those songs that starts light and just as you’re about to make assumptions it explodes into full sound. After the first listen, the beginning of the song felt even stronger once I knew where it was heading. Look for their newly completed album to be released soon!
