Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros - Up From Below (Daytrotter Session)
You may remember my post about these guys back in July, and if you don’t then your life is about to change. Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros have been one of my summer favorites and recently released one of the year’s most impressive albums called Up From Below. Yesterday I got the word that their Daytrotter Session was posted online and I immediately snatched it up and proceeded to wear it out! It’s hard to pick a favorite song from the session, but lately I’ve really been digging the title track. Also, I’ve included the album version of “40 Day Dream” for you guys to enjoy. Look for the band to visit your local venue on their latest tour. I plan to see them at The Independent in September and of course at the masterfully planned Treasure Island Music Festival!
