Discovery - I Want You Back (Jackson 5 Cover)
Clearly the music world is going through a pretty major moment with the loss of Michael Jackson. Though shocked and saddened as you are, EOTB generally stays out of major affairs like this one simply because it doesn’t fit in with the theme. I provide this blog for people to discover new artists and new songs and everyone knows about the King of Pop. However, I found a way to tie in MJ with a current buzz-making band whom I have owed a post for weeks now. Discovery is a collaborative effort from Vampire Weekend keyboardist and producer Rostam Batmanglij and Ra Ra Riot singer Wes Miles. Their debut album LP is a fantastic journey through electro pop that has had the blog world buzzing intensely. “I Want You Back” is their auto-tuned version of the Jackson 5 classic loaded with electro excellence.
