    Alan Wilkis - N.I.C.E.

It’s been a while since I posted anything this funky, but it’s about time! If you were born between the P-Funk generation and the Chromeo generation and/or you need to get funktified then check out Alan Wilkis. He was kind enough to hook me up with his new EP Pink and Purple and after a few listens I can’t wait to bust it out at some parties! “N.I.C.E.” is packed with some delicious funk flavors including synth, background singers, thumping bass and even some rapping towards the end. Basically it’s a nice big chunk of funk. Other highlights on his new release include the title track “Pink and Purple” and “Snuggle Up to Nail Down.”
