    Bagheera - Skeleton Leaf

If you haven’t been able to stop playing the latest Grizzly Bear album, I have a band that could distract you for a while. Out of the University of Liverpool is a trio of young musicians known as Bagheera. Their new four track E.P Hollow Home features light and intricate instrumentals flooded with powerful harmonies. “Skeleton Leaf” is a fantastic example of the vocal quality of this band. The main vocals are chilly and dark, yet the harmonies formed at different moments in the song seem to blanket the lead singer’s voice in a warmer tone. Not a bad effect! Even though they study music and surround themselves in mature music taste, it’s always a great sign to hear a solid EP out of such a young band.
