Naminé - Spacific Ocean

I’ve got some chillwaveyness for you this morning from a new act called Naminé out of Melbourne, Australia. Naminé is the solo endeavour of Darcy Baylis, a professed bedroom musician with a fondness for video games (the source for his project’s name). His new 4-song EP is really worth checking out. The first song “Spacific Ocean” sounds like oOoOO meets Washed Out (Darcy mentions him as an influence) - it’s dark and downtempo and sets a very powerful vibe that carries on throughout the whole EP.
