Esser - Real Life
With show-stealing pop hit’s like “Headlock” and “Work It Out” already causing quite a stir, I peeled back the layers of Esser’s debut album and found this gem called “Real Life” hiding towards the back. It’s a slower song with a pounding beat and background voices sounding like something from the Gorillaz. Esser’s impressive vocal abilities shine in this track although in a more casual style to compliment the cool beat. Look for this London newcomer’s debut Braveface out May 4th!
