Guerre and Top Girls - Waiting

I just found this Guerre and Top Girls track on Guerre’s Myspace with only two plays on it. But I’m guessing there will be many more plays when this posts in the morning - and probably some other blog posts too. I really enjoy both these acts a lot, so it’s great to see they’re going to put out a split release in the near future. Just a warning though, this song has an effect that may make you totally space out in the middle of whatever you’re doing. Best to preview this track in a laid back setting. Happy Friday!

Rraaiillss - When You Feel Like…

Adam of Rraaiillss hit me up last night about a full length album called 1098 in the works. I’m a fan of his first EP and side project Incubator, so I got right to checking out ”When You Feel Like…” - the first track he sent from the new album. It didn’t take long for me to like this tune. I was instantly hooked to the really catchy guitar riffs that erupt from behind Adam’s whispery vocals. Make sure to grab the new song for free on his Bandcamp and keep on the lookout for the album drop.

    Wild Nothing - Golden Haze

New Wild Nothing release just announced on Pitchfork. “Golden Haze” will be the title song of an upcoming EP on Captured Tracks. Apparently the 12”, CD and digital copies will all feature different tracklists. Can’t wait! This band is so damn good.
